John is Chairman of BigWheel Partners, Inc., a private equity subsidiary of Fenway Partners focused on the Transportation and Logistics industry. Prior to forming BigWheel Partners with Fenway, John was a senior executive with CSX and BNSF, two companies focused on the railroad side of transportation. He served as Executive Vice President in charge of sales and marketing for both organizations and also was responsible for field operations. Prior to that, John had a 12-year career with Mckinsey & Company after receiving his undergraduate degree from Stanford in mechanical engineering and his MBA from Harvard University. He is non-executive Chairman of Greatwide Logistics Services, Inc., and a Director of both Panther Expedited Services, Inc. and Abitibi Consolidate, Inc.
